Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
Status Reports will be delivered to the state medical board/medical licensing authority electronically and/or by mail, based on the preference of the receiving organization. IMGs cannot select the report delivery method. If the requesting organization requests to receive a paper report and does not receive the report, ECFMG will honor requests for duplicate reports at no additional cost up to 90 days after the date that the original report was processed.
Electronic Status Reports are typically issued within one business day but may take up to two weeks. Paper Status Reports are typically sent within two weeks.
